Install IPTV on Samsung Smart TV

Samsung's Tizen TVs run IPTV players natively, so there is no sideloading involved. The only fiddly part is finding where the playlist field lives.

Step by step

  1. 1Press the Home button and open the Apps panel.
  2. 2Search for the player named in your welcome email and install it — it is free.
  3. 3Open the app and note the device ID or MAC address it shows on first launch.
  4. 4Enter your M3U URL from the welcome email, or send us the device ID and we will link it.
  5. 5Save, then let the channel list and guide populate.

Tips for Samsung

  • Samsung TVs from 2018 onward are supported; older models may need an external stick.
  • If the app will not install, check the TV region setting — some players are region-gated.
  • Turn off Intelligent Mode / motion smoothing for live sport; it adds visible lag.
