Install IPTV on LG Smart TV

LG's webOS handles IPTV players well, and the LG Content Store carries several. The setup is a two-field job once the app is installed.

Step by step

  1. 1Open the LG Content Store from the home bar.
  2. 2Search for the player named in your welcome email and install it.
  3. 3Launch the app and open Settings, then Playlist, then Add.
  4. 4Paste your M3U URL exactly as it appears in the email and save.
  5. 5Return to the channel list and let the guide finish downloading.

Tips for LG

  • webOS 4.0 (2018) and newer are supported.
  • If channels load but the guide is empty, give it five minutes — the EPG file is large.
  • The LG Magic Remote pointer makes channel-list navigation much faster.
