Install IPTV on MAG box & Windows/Mac

MAG boxes use a portal URL rather than an M3U playlist, and desktop players just need the playlist pasted in. Both are quick.

Step by step

  1. 1MAG: open Settings, then System Settings, then Servers, then Portals.
  2. 2MAG: enter the portal URL from your welcome email and save, then reboot the box.
  3. 3Windows/Mac: install VLC, or any player that accepts an M3U URL.
  4. 4Windows/Mac: choose Media, then Open Network Stream.
  5. 5Windows/Mac: paste your M3U URL and press Play, then save it as a favourite.

Tips for MAG / PC

  • MAG boxes need their MAC address registered — send it to support and we will add it.
  • VLC is fine for watching but has no channel guide; a dedicated player is nicer day to day.
  • On Mac, IINA is a good VLC alternative that handles M3U playlists well.
